กินรวบ- an illegal lottery;

กินหลัง- to be inclined to dive; กินซ้าย (ขวา)- to be inclined to veer to the left (right); กินนอน- to do nothing except eat and sleep, boarding (school, student); กินกัน- to eat together (as in a family), to fit together (as cogwheels); กินใจ- to suspect, to be doubtful regarding (the aim or purpose of another); กินสินจ้าง- to live on wages only; กินแหนง- to suspect, to doubt the purpose of, to mistrust; กินลม- to take an outing for health or rest (as a stay at the sea-shore or a seat-trip).

เรากินเพื่ออยู่ หรืออยู่เพื่อกิน Do we eat to live, or do we live to eat? เธอกินตะเกียบเป็นไหม Can you eat with chopsticks? เขาหาโอกาสกินสินบน He seeks the opportunity to take bribes.
